Author, gamer, mom, baker, crafter, sexual advocate, and reader. I wear many hats, but my love of reading and writing has led me on a journey to be authentic to myself. I love gaming and talking shop about indie authors. I'm from the Deep South but moved as a teen. My voice is shaped by my experiences. My main goal in life is sexual liberation, bringing joy and light into the world. And making those around me just as happy as I am.

What inspired you to write this book, and what message do you hope readers take away from it?

     My inspiration was born from a simple thought: I want a story written as if you're talking to a friend about bdsm. Once the thought came, everything else flowed seamlessly. I want readers to take away that sex isn't something to shy away from; it's an experience for everyone, whether in the ABC community, sexually liberated, celibate, or abstinent. No one should feel ashamed to enjoy it or have questions about certain aspects.

Can you tell us about your main character (or favorite character) and what makes them special to you?

    Leigha Date is a blasian college-educated with a stepsibling and younger brother. She is wild and carefree. She, along with Akaisha, different series, are my favorite characters. Both are strong and resilient women. One enjoys sex and is unabashed about it. The other is more innocent but doesn't care about sex at all.

What was the most rewarding—and the most challenging—part of writing this book?

    The most rewarding thing was how it's told. I've not seen many books where it's not just told in 1st person pov but told in a way like you're talking to a friend you haven't seen in a long time. The most challenging part was reining the character in. There were parts that could've been included that I didn't allow.

If readers could remember just one thing after finishing your book, what would you want it to be?

    Be you. The premise of the novel is to be unabashedly yourself, whether it's sexually active, reserved, loud, proud, or accepting of who you are.

What's next for you? Are you currently working on another book or exciting project that readers can look forward to?

     Yes. I am working on an excerpt for the anthology f*ck your feelings; it is my first time allowing myself to dive into dark romance under a different pen name. I also am working on book 3 of my Akaisha Morningstar Series. And doing research for my mystery novel: Muerte Mysteries food for thought. Each of my books are all in the same universe.
