Na’Kita aka Naaj is an emerging urban fiction author with a passion for telling raw, emotionally charged stories rooted in love, loyalty, betrayal, and survival. I wrote it to prove I could do it. I had so many finished projects that I never thought I’d see through, and this is my first book rewritten. The more I grew into my writing, the changes were necessary. I would want everyone to read it and remember Healing is Linear. It doesn’t look and feel the same for anyone. They all have their own processes.
Can you tell us about your main character (or favorite character) and what makes them special to you?
Maliyah is my FMC, and she is the most unhealed version of myself, and that’s why I loved writing her. She made me realize things about myself to build who she is.
