Celebrating Literary Excellence, Recognizing Talent, and Honoring the Voices That Keep Our Stories Alive!
The literary community, it's time to show some love!
SCBookGal & Friends, in collaboration with Aspiring Authors Magazine, is excited to announce the upcoming 2027 Aspiring Authors/BookGal Awards! This annual celebration recognizes the outstanding authors, books, publishing houses, and literary voices that continue to make an impact in the literary world.
Whether you're an avid reader, an aspiring writer, an established author, or someone who simply appreciates a great story, this is your opportunity to help shine a spotlight on the talent deserving of recognition.
It's Nomination Time!
The nomination period officially opens November 1, 2026, and runs through December 5, 2026.
We invite readers, supporters, authors, and members of the literary community to participate by nominating their favorite authors, books, and publishing professionals. Every nomination is an opportunity to recognize hard work, creativity, dedication, and the power of storytelling.
From captivating fiction to unforgettable romance, compelling urban literature, and the many genres that keep readers turning pages, we want to celebrate the individuals and creative works making their mark.
Your Voice Matters!
What makes these awards special is the opportunity for the literary community to participate in recognizing excellence.
The nomination process allows readers and supporters to acknowledge the authors whose stories have entertained, inspired, challenged, and motivated them.
Following the nomination period, the Top Five nominees in each category will advance to the final round, giving the community another opportunity to show their support.
Let's Celebrate Our Literary Community!
The 2027 Aspiring Authors/BookGal Awards are about more than trophies and recognition. They are about celebrating the creativity, determination, and passion behind the written word.
Independent authors and publishing professionals work tirelessly to bring stories to life. Their contributions deserve to be acknowledged, celebrated, and shared.
