Get To Know Author Nadjejd Wright-Scott
The inspiration for "Nadjejda's Story-The Love That Carries Me" was the desire to share more of my adoption story. When I share it with others, they encouraged me to write a book, so I finally did. My prayer is that readers will look back at their lives and see how God carried them also and want to share their story.
Can you tell us about your main character (or favorite character) and what makes them special to you?
The main character in my story is me. What makes me special, in my opinion, is that my adoption is not like everyone else's. I hope it also inspires people to want to adopt. Not only special needs kids, but all kids. Everyone needs to be raised by loving & caring people.
What was the most rewarding—and the most challenging—part of writing this book?
I would have to say that the most rewarding part of writing my autobiography was finally sharing my story and seeing the beautiful response to the has truly blessed me. The most challenging part, I would say, was having to write the passing of my adopted parents. They were an amazing support system. I miss them every day!!

If readers could remember just one thing after finishing your book, what would you want it to be?
I would hope they would remember that when life gets a little rough, they realize their need for God because He can truly carry you if you just put your trust in Him.

What's next for you? Are you currently working on another book or exciting project that readers can look forward to?
I am currently collaborating on a new book that will hopefully be available October 2026 called "Faith After The Fall" with Author Triveda Harris & "Wings of Transformation Publishing". I am so excited to be able to be a part of this anthology. I really believe it will be a blessing to all who read the stories shared in this book..
